Harp & Bowl Model

 

Harp and Bowl is the form of prayer that the Watchmen House of Prayer utilizes to sustain its place of prayer and worship. It is a model of corporate prayer that combines music and songs with the praying of scripture. Thsi model is based on a picture of how worship is done in heaven. (Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowl full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. - Revelation 5:8-9)  By utilizing this model in our watches, we are simply bringing this form of worship to the earth. The blend of worshop and prayer accomplishes three important things:

 

• It creates unity within the prayer room as we gather to pray and worship God

• It fosters team buliding among the team so that there is not a "one person show"

• It fosters growth in humility as each team memver learns to cooperate with each other in the fusion of intercession and worship
