TRAINING
A Sustained Place of Prayer and Worship is a dedicated place where a body of believers tear down the walls of economic, generational, racial, and religious barriers by corporately agreeing to continually minister unto God, inercede for the community, and undergird the Church. This place provides an invitaion to the Holy Spirit to rest upon us and change the atmosphere of our lives and our community.
Training is a two-part process in which all WHOP Members are discipled through the core teachings of WHO, and trained in a skill area (vocal, music,prayer, etc). The core teachings are based on the lifestyle of URGENT LOVE. Through the understanding of this lifestyle there will be an impartation of motivation to dedicating one's life, time , and skills to the SPOP.
Community Development is the promotion of unity and friendship within the WHOP family and throughout the surrounding community in regard to connection with other Houses of Prayer. Community within the WHOL is developed throught the Watchmen Care Group (WCG). Community outsice the WHOP shall be developed through building a house of prayer network, prayer, and worship evens, and hosting training opportunities.
Outreach for The Watchmen House of Prayer involved in a creation of an environment for those who do not have a relationship with God to encounter His beauty and holiness in a safe place undergirded with prayer and worship. Settings that will be fashioned for encoutering God include our times of serving the community through provision of food and clothing, jail ministry, missions trips, and our mobile soaking unit.
